Hi, I'm Pranav
Every Friday, I share my process, thoughts, stories, ideas, and weekly recommendations. We're a community of 160+ curious people reading these newsletters.
I love building products and solving problems. It’s the joy of creating new things that wakes me every day.
Over the last couple of weeks, I have been organising hackathons. It’s great to see people build new products creatively to solve problems.
Here are the events that I was a part of and what I learnt from them.
1. Dropshipping mela
Over the last 2 months, we the students at Masters’ Union have been doing the dropshipping challenge. It was a good experience. On 4th February, we at Masters’ Union, had a dropshpping mela. On that day, we had a whole day at Worldmark in Gurgaon to sell our products offline. My team along with other teams were there for the whole day till 10 pm to sell our products.
Our team was called ‘The Perfect Mix’ and our store name was called Urbanama. We sold electronic consumer goods like earphones, G-Lamp, Panda Lamp, etc. It was full dropshipping, as we didn’t hold any inventory.
Other teams were selling various products like scented
On the dropshipping mela, for the first half, we sold speakers, adapters, power banks, wires, etc. But since we were not getting any traction, we started selling jewellery. So, alongside with electronics, we sold jewellery.
Also, I met Varun Mayaa at the meal. It was great meeting him.
2. Salespreneur
At Hive School, we hosted India’s first sales hackathon. It was a 24-hour hackathon where 40 participants in teams participated in 5 challenges. It was my first ever 24-hour hackathon and I barely slept for 1 hour.
8 CXOs from the industry judged the challenges. It was fun for both the team and the participants. We had judges from companies like MMT, Numberz, BirdEye, and Leadsquared. It was great to meet all of them and learn from them. I had the opportunity to have dinner with them.
You can read more about this hackathon in my previous newsletter. I have written in detail about it.

3. No Code Hackathon
Last week on 18th Feb, Era of No Code hosted a No Code Hackathon in collaboration with Masters’ Union.
The founder of Era was here to conduct the No Code hackathon where he taught Bubble, Yep. so, etc to the participants and later the participants build a mini product to showcase in front of judges.
Various partners collaborated with APDList, 10K Designers, Stoa, Yep, Atomic Fuion, Zeroic, NoCode University and BuildShip.
It was great to learn to basics of Bubble again. I am in Cohort 2 of Era of No Code, where I am learning Bubble, this introductory session on Bubble brushed up my basics.
