What it takes to be in Founder’s Office

I work in the Founder’s Office at Fueler. I also create content on YouTube where I share my processes and learnings.

Every Friday, in this newsletter, I share my process, thoughts, stories, ideas, and weekly recommendations.

A couple of days ago, I met Vibhor Agarwal from the Founder’s Office at Hike during an event. It was nice catching up with him after a long time. This was during my first week of joining Fueler. Since Vibhor has been at Hike since March 2023 and his role has evolved significantly, I spoke with him about his position in the Founder’s Office.

I asked him what it takes to be in that role and what responsibilities he has. He mentioned one point: the person in the founder’s office must have a ‘Bias Towards Action.’ The founder has many things on their plate, and you need to lighten the load for him or her. This means you have to work on more than one or two areas, but across various niches, like design, content, operations, and marketing. Additionally, you need to know a wide range of topics as well.
