Hi, I'm Pranav
I work at Hive School, which is India’s First Sales School. I also create content on my YouTube where I share my processes and learnings.
Every Friday, in this newsletter, I share my process, thoughts, stories, ideas, and weekly recommendations.
Last week, I read a newsletter by Sahil Bloom where he shared 9 lessons from Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway Annual Meeting. I resonated with one of his lessons. It was ‘Go where you don’t belong’.
Due to my dad’s work, I have changed 6 schools (7th Collage) and 5 different cities. Every school I went to, I had to make new friends and get along with them. I had to adjust to the new environment each time. And each time, I had to say bye to my old friends. But this taught me a lot.
I learned how to talk to strangers
Start a long conversation
Get familiar with new places
Explore new places and the diversity
Adapt to change
For the past 3-4 years, I have explored a lot of Twitter. I have met a lot of people and joined a lot of communities. When the world started opening up after COVID-19, I started going to events and meetups. Early on, I took time to get along with people and learn what they were talking about. But that helped me grow a lot.
Try going into the room where you don’t belong. Maybe you’ll discover something new.
