After coming to Delhi last year, I was excited that I get a chance to explore a new place, new culture, and variety of food and meet new people. But little did I know, I neglected my health. Since I am a foodie, Delhi food just made me overweight. I didn’t exercise for months and I just kept eating.
I knew that I need to exercise and keep a check on my weight. I kept finding the perfect time to exercise, and the time never came. In the morning I have school. After 8 hours of school, I don’t have the energy to focus on anything. And I thought that too after exercising, I would get more tired and will not do other work. I was waiting for the perfect time to start exercising. I was waiting for school holidays, energetic days, waiting for someone to motivate me.
But on the 31’st of October, I realised that it’s high time now and I have to take my health seriously. I remembered Ranveer Alliahbadia talking about how Virat Kohli changed his health and became one of the fittest people in the world. Then I saw some of Virat’s interviews where he spoke about health and thought if I have to live for 100 years, I have to exercise. That day I messaged the instructor of the gym that I am coming from tomorrow to the gym.

Here’s another story
When you are in the filmmaking field, you always want to upgrade to the best camera and the best equipment to make films. We caught up in the idea that the best camera will make the best video and tell the best story. But that’s simply not true. Filmmaking is about the story you tell. It doesn’t matter what others think or what gear you use. So cliche as it sounds, get out there and create what you want to make and tell the stories you want to tell.
Perfection is the enemy of progress -Winston Churchill
Remember, ‘Just do it’ because if you do it, you are doing more than 99.9% of people out there talking about it. You just need a mobile phone, good internet and an idea to start doing something. Why wait for the perfect time? When you start with what you have, you have added a story to your Josh Talks that you started doing when you had no proper equipment
