This newsletter is not about ‘log kya kahyange’, but it is about taking action. We in our like plan a lot before starting something, that most likely we end up not doing it. For example, when I was shifting to Delhi, I saw a lot of videos of how to design your room or room tour videos on YouTube, and when I took up the work of setting up my room, I didn’t like the work in the start. Here’s why- I was watching a video by Ali Abdaal on his 2020’s learnings video, he spoke about a concept called Improvisational Productivity. It says ‘The longer we think about a task without doing it, the less novel it becomes to do. Writing things on your to-do list and coming back to them later helps you focus but it comes at a cost; you have now converted an interesting idea into work. Since you have thought about it a little bit, it's less interesting to work on.’ So When you plan a lot without taking action, you don’t enjoy the actual work.
I know planning is important. But wh you are new to something like you want to start your newsletter or YouTube channel, you just have to plan your first 2-3-4 posts, not your entire channel. Start it and figure out if it is working for you or not. If you want to scale it, then you should have a plan.
