Patience is the key | #08
Rahul David once told a story and it makes perfect sense today. He said that a bamboo tree seed spends 5 years in the soil and we have to water it regularly, patiently, lovingly and then in 5 weeks, it grows up to 90 feet.
The question is did the bamboo tree grow in 5 years or 5 weeks.
If we lose patience, we won't be able to see such miracles. Overnight success, what we say, is a myth and success takes a lot of time. We look up to the successful people and say that they have become successful overnight. One of the best examples is Ankur Warikoo. He has recently hit 50 Million views and 1 Million subscribers on YouTube. But he got about 48.9 million views and about 1.1 Million in the last 1 year. And the shocking part is that he is making videos on YouTube since 2017. Yes, 2017. He just patiently made content and he is here today. Also, you should see his other social media too.
This is the YouTube subscribers and views of Ankur Warikoo he shared on Instagram.
Everyone will have different kinds of progress. Not in the content, but Ankur sir’s journey and my journey is different. But the thing similar between us is that we both are doing our hard work consistently and one day the progress will eventually show up. So believe in hard work, be consistent and don’t focus more on the result. You will get to what you have worked for.
So, be patient like bamboo and focus on building your roots.

So, we are at the end of the year. I was just seeing my calendar of this year and found something interesting. This is April month. The numbers marked with purple ink were the days left for my board exams to start. But they got cancelled. 25’th was the memorial date when I started my YouTube channel.
