Take one platform seriously to built audience | #132
Two very important things: 1. Leverage 2. Luck Surface Area
Hi, I'm Pranav
I work at Hive School, which is India’s First Sales School. I also create content on my YouTube where I share my processes and learnings.
Every Friday, in this newsletter, I share my process, thoughts, stories, ideas, and weekly recommendations.
I have been on Twitter for 3-4 years. I have been on it since lockdown. It’s the best platform I have been on and has changed my life.
wrote this a few weeks ago about how taking a platform seriously and building an audience help a lot.Twitter has helped me a lot in my life. I have met a lot of people on Twitter. For people who were doing something great, I used to DM them and talk to them. Many times, we got on a call. I have learned a lot from these conversations. I got to know about a lot of things. Some of them gave me feedback on what I was doing, helped me with what I was building, etc. They also connected me to other interesting folks. And the network is net worth.
On Twitter, I have been sharing my learnings and documenting whatever I was building. I was also building in public, like the 30 Days of MVP Bootcamp by 100 Days of No Code, the Newsletter I am writing, etc.
Since I was showing up consistently, a lot of people discovered my work. This was helping me build the right audience of builders, founders, creators, etc. Later many of them became my friends too.
When you are building something authentically and with passion, you attract the right audience. We all Hive School team have been sharing our learnings and how are we building it on the internet that we have started making a great community on our socials. And when people are seeing your hard work, they will also appreciate you.
So, in this internet world, if you are young, you need to take the platform seriously. It can be Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, whatever works for you. Leverage it and build Luck Surface Area.
At Hive School, we have started the admissions of C2. If you are someone who wants to start your career in B2B SaaS, apply here.

Bhuvan Bam is a great creator. The way he has evolved from making his videos to producing movies/shows is amazing. This podcast covers his story, how he grew up, his family, his career, etc.
