Hi, I'm Pranav

I was watching a podcast by Varun Duggirala where he was interviewing Ashdin Doctor aka The Habit Coach. Ashdin is the founder of Awesome 180, which focuses on habit-building and improving them.
In the podcast, Ashdin told a technique to build habits which fascinated me. There are many components which go into habit building, I suggest you should read about habits and habit formation. It can be reading books on habits like ‘The Power of Habit’ or ‘Atomic Habits’, just do some research and you will learn a lot. Ashdin told me that if you want to build a habit, instead of starting to do it completely, start small by taking up challenges.
For example, if you want to start exercising, don’t do a 10 km run and 2 hours gym from today. Take up the challenge of walking 3 km for a month. Once you get used to it, give yourself a little more difficult challenge of increasing it to 5 km or running the last 1 km of the walk. It can be anything. We tend to break a habit which is hard.
Another example of small habits is James Clear. Many people don’t know this but before he published his book Atomic Habits, he was blogging for 10 years, with 2 blogs every week, writing about HABITS. Writing about habits, gave him lots of feedback about his writing and he got to know what works and what doesn’t. That lead to him writing his book and it became a bestseller book.
So, what’s the challenge you are taking up? Write it in the comments

We all criticise school and we all tell that we didn’t learn many skills in school. My school ended this month. In my last video, I shared the life lessons I learnt in school over the last 15 years.
