Hi, I'm Pranav
Every Friday, I share my process, thoughts, stories, ideas, and weekly recommendations. We're a community of 100+ curious people reading these newsletters.
I have used a lot of apps in the past 2-3 years and in this newsletter, I want to share all the apps I use regularly.
These apps include my personal apps, not the apps or software I use to create content. But, today evening, I’ll be posting a video of the apps and software as a creator. So stay tuned for 7:30 pm for the video
Here are the apps I use daily
1. Notion
Notion is by far the best productivity and notetaking tool I have used. I have built my second brain on it. Second Brain is a concept by Tiago Forte, where he tells how to manage all our resources, links, online material, etc. I have made a video on how I use Notion. You can see it here
2. Google Notes
Notion is a bit complex as compared to Google Notes. I use Google Notes to take random notes, whether it’s ideas or random notes or thoughts, it’s simple to take notes on Google Notes.
So, if that idea or thoughts are related to my personal notes or content, I later take it to Notion
3. ToDoist
I have its widget on my mobile screen where I list down important and urgent tasks of the day.
Sometimes I use it to take down the tasks I want to do but are not important or urgent so that I can do it later.
I primarily use Notion to keep track of all my tasks, but ToDoist is a bit simpler. You can refer to the video I shared in the Notion section to see how I use Notion
4. Spotify
I use Spotify mainly to listen to songs and listen to podcasts. It has the best recommendations for songs.
5. Snipd
I discovered this app recently after my friend recommended it to me. It lets you listen to podcasts and take snippets or clips out of it. So it’s easier to listen to clips later. I loved the concept, but I am too early to tell it whether it’s good for you or not, but you can try it if you regularly listen to podcasts.
6. Twitter
Twitter is the best place I have been to. I came on Twitter in the Corona Lockown and it has changed my life. I have learnt a lot from the app and have met great people on it. I am very grateful that I started Twitter.
7. Slack
So, Slack is the best app for communication in an organisation, startup or with a team. I am interning with Fueler, so I use it regularly to communicate with my team.
Those were some of the apps I use daily. Today at 7:30 pm IST, I am going to post a video where I share all the tools I use. Stay Tuned!
