Hi, I'm Pranav
I create content on YouTube where I share my processes and learnings.
Every Friday, in this newsletter, I share my process, thoughts, stories, ideas, and weekly recommendations.
What does it mean to be comfortable in your own life?
Recently, I was having this conversation with one of my good friends and mentors about work and how I should look at things. He mentioned one point about being comfortable about life and work.
He said you need to leave your comfort zone to grow in life. As cliché as it sounds, it is true.
When you are too comfortable with your surroundings, you don’t tend to grow in life, you don’t try new things because you feel your current state or work is easy doing and you’re subconscious mind is working. You don’t try new things, don’t meet new people, don’t go to meetups, don’t work on your project, because you don’t feel like, just because you are too comfortable with your current state. You need to try doing uncomfortable things to grow.
I realised this one thing recently in work. When your work is too easy or you have the same day-to-day, you tend to stop working hard, and when you get to working on the hard thing, you tend to not think clearly as you are not in the momentum of working hard. This is something I wrote a long time ago on why you should keep your momentum high.
Let me know your thoughts on this. Comment down below.
