It’s not a great week. I was not willing to work. It was kind of an unproductive week. I was not willing to write this newsletter, but I thought to not miss it and be consistent.
So, at the start of this month, I was feeling drained and stuck in my life. I was kind of not enjoying the process of making videos on YouTube. A lot of things were coming up in my life. School exams (which I haven’t prepaid yet) and unwilling to do much work. I shared this in my 10’th newsletter of me facing self-doubt. I feel it’s because of that. When you do one thing for a long period of time, you sometimes get bored and don’t enjoy the process. It may not happen to everyone. So I decided to take a break from it for some time. I won’t be posting videos for about a month.
I feel we should also take a break from our work and just relax for some time. It may be 1 day or 1 week or 1 month, it’s your choice, but take breaks. It’s important to focus on ourselves and our mental health. We just keep working and dont focus on ourselves. I am not willing to write further, but just remember to take breaks from your life and give time to your body to heal.
I just want to end this with an example. I saw a YouTube Short by Abhi and Niyu, where they spoke about a YouTuber called Mr Beast. many of you might know him, but for those who know him, he is an American YouTuber doing some crazy things. He has over 88.5 Million subscribers and 718 videos. I don’t watch most of his content, but what he said recently, made me motivated. 2 days ago, he posted in his community tab of YT that, he will not be posting videos for 2 weeks because he was tired and not feeling energised due to covid. He was covid negative, still, he was tired. So, if big creators can take breaks, we can also take them.
Book I am currently reading
This week I started reading ‘DO EPIC SHIT’ by Ankur Warikoo. This book is all the thoughts and learnings of Ankur and it’s just amazing.
