Hi, I'm Pranav
Every Friday, I share my process, thoughts, stories, ideas, and weekly recommendations. We're a community of 150+ curious people reading these newsletters.
Proof of Work changed my life. It gave me various opportunities in my life.
It started with content creation. I began my YouTube channel and newsletter in 2021. I also started learning about social media, how it works, what trends work on all platforms, what content we should post on the platforms, etc. I documented all my learnings of content creation, and this knowledge helped me get internships in startups like Fueler and Build Academy, where I managed their social media. I also got the opportunity to do a podcast with Dr. Sid Warrier, and that podcast led me to do an internship with Thousand Faces Club, where I worked as a Community Outreach Intern. If I hadn't shown up, I wouldn't have learned in the startups.
I love Notion. I have been working with the Notion tool for the past 2.5 years. I use it to manage my second brain, create content, manage my resources, etc. Last month, I got the chance to host a session on Notion for my college batchmates. My college's management saw my session, and due to that, I got into my college's student council, and I am managing their calendar and council on Notion. I would have never imagined that one session would do this to me.
What I have learned is that showing up is very important. If you don't share what you do with the world, you won't get the chance. A person who doesn't know much stuff but is willing to learn and shows up every time gets more opportunities than someone who is a master at their skills but doesn't speak up.
So, what are you waiting for? Start showing up. To start with, you can share your work or what you have built in the past in the comments.
